My name is Jason Dowd and I am a classical oil painter and illustrator working/living in Southern California. Currently, I am an instructor at Laguna College of Art and Design teaching drawing, painting, illustration, and history of Illustration.
Light Nature Art will focus on discussing concepts, sharing images, and demonstrating processes of art. It is my sincere hope that students and fellow artists alike will find, as well as offer, inspiration to this blog.
